Key account manager
As our key account manager you will build partnerships with our current customers and connect new webshops to our comparison websites.
Vertaa.fi is the number one price comparison portal (B2C e-commerce) in Finland. Vertaa.fi offers an easy way of comparing a variety of products and services on price, postage and delivery time. Webshops utilize Vertaa.fi to be more visible online and achieve higher turnovers. To further improve the growth of our webshops, we are looking to hire a key account manager. The Finnish sales team takes care of all its clients (webshops) in Finland (Vertaa.fi) and Sweden (Varusök.se). The team describes itself as a close and warm team situated in an office in the center of Helsinki.
Vertaa.fi and Varusök.se are a part of Compare Group, with comparison websites in the Netherlands (Vergelijk.nl), Belgium (Vergelijk.be & Comparer.be) and Germany (BesteKauf.de).
As our key account manager you will build partnerships with our current customers and connect new webshops to our comparison websites. You will be part of the current sales-team that exists out of three eager sales colleagues.
Your daily work
- Get the most out of our large key accounts
- Connect new webshops to Vertaa.fi and Varusök.se
- Together with the Dutch sales manager you develop or improve processes that drive sales and make work easier for the entire sales team
- You monitor and analyze account turnover and results
- You see opportunities and translate these into sales
- You ensure optimal cooperation between the sales team and the marketing team
- You keep up with developments in the market and you know how to translate the wishes of our customers to the right department

A short description of you
- You live, think and breath our Manifesto
- At least 4 years of sales experience in e-commerce
- You have strong analytical skills
- You have exceptional customer service skills
- You have deep understanding of CRM systems such as Sales Force
- Excellent communication skills, assertiveness and persuasiveness
- Bachelor degree in business, marketing or related field
- You live in Helsinki or surrounding areas
- Good knowledge of the Finnish (native speaker) and English language, both spoken and written
